Poemme is an artist I have been looking for forever. An artist who builds a world of calm, relaxing, and beautiful sounds that allow us to leave our reality and build another world almost. Her talent is incredible, and I look forward to her next album, should it arrive.
If you're ever looking for music that relaxes the soul as well as the body, this is a solid choice.
Favorite track: tomorrow.
The cover art perfectly depicts the feeling I get when listening to this album... especially the colors... (and It's just long enough for me to do my journaling in the morning). I've listened to this about 15 times so far, and I get the feeling it will become one of my staples.
Favorite track: hidden sanctuary.

This physical edition features puffy white clouds block-printed onto pastel blue cardstock. The folded case is doubly-thick and quite sturdy, and has been lightly painted for texture. A cardstock band fits snugly around the case to keep the CD-r from potentially falling out. I hope you will enjoy ‘Escape to Blue’, a bright and optimistic soundtrack for peaceful moments… The artwork featured on the cover is a piece entitled “Rest,” by graphic artist Alexander Andulce, whose whimsical and dreamy illustrations inspire my creativity very much. In his own words, this particular scene expresses the idea of making time to “move away from the everyday to see the beauty of nature,” which is reflected in the Japanese caption 逃げる / nigeru / to run away, and echoed by my own title. I let Alexander’s artwork guide my imagination while structuring the album’s progression across a maritime landscape, beginning with a contemplative hillside reverie ~ rising to follow a warm breeze down the grassy slope ~ suddenly encountering a flurry of wildlife: a myriad of insects darting through the air with flashes of iridescence ~ a few moments of quiet rest amongst the reeds on a riverbank ~ drifting down the river, seaward, in a sun-warmed boat ~ and finally reaching the shore, where the sight and sounds of the ocean waves inspire a deep calm…

This album really brings out that winter feel, yet it makes you feel warm and cozy. All tracks have a way of projecting this. I'm fairly sure this album took a lot of dedication to make, and the end result shows. Hilyard is steadily becoming one of my favorite ambient artists. Surrealistic H. Sapiens
